Amanda was born and raised a midwestern girl in St. Louis, MO. She grew up as the oldest daughter in a tight knit family and was very involved in her church, which was also the school she went to and graduated from. After that, she pursued nursing career at St. Louis University. She was a pediatric nurse for many years in the St. Louis area until moving to Texas 15 years. It was then that she got married and started a family. After starting a family, she stayed home to raise her children until they were school age. 

It was at this point in her life, after many personal life events, she decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in something she was passionate about. Amanda graduated from UNT with her degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a certificate in Legal Studies. She has a heart for helping people, but has also always loved law and how our criminal justice system functions. She is passionate about family law and hopes to grow her career in helping other families navigate through unfortunate times. 

In her spare time when she’s not busy running children back and forth to sports practice, she enjoys spending time seeing live music, reading, anything outdoors, and trying new restaurants. She also really enjoys cooking and football.
